"The "weight room" was a steel shed by the practice football field with  an old weight machine. I think Jeff Streets made an AC/DC tape that ran  at set intervals so we would lift a certain time at each station. To  raise money for equipment so to turn a storage room at the school into a  real weight room we all went out to Rocky Ridge where we cut firewood  to sale at Homecoming."

"I think one of my favorite memories is when we would go to the drive-in  picture show in the summer. Always knew we would meet up with friends  and have a good time."

Memories....

"My friend and I had to run some kind of "errand" for journalism class--I don't  know where or for what. What I do remember is that neither of us had a  car, so Mr. Reasor had graciously offered to let us drive his little  Opal. Well, it was a standard, and my friend had never driven one. I had,  but with limited experience. So we got in, and for the life of me I  could not get that car to go into reverse. I finally just let it roll  backward in the parking space so I could shift into 1st and get going. I  told my friend we could only park where we would be able to pull forward to  leave.
So we ran our errand and took Mr. Reasors keys back to  him. I asked him about reverse, and he started chuckling and remarked  he had forgotten to mention that to shift into reverse you had to pull  up on the shifter. Mystery solved."

"7th grade (1981) there was an assembly where some seniors (and possibly  juniors) had a band...I remember Jeff Streets and Jeff Howard...REO  Speedwagon - Keep on Loving You.  Every time I hear that song I'm back  in the 7th grade."

"I  think I still know all of the Christmas Pageant songs by heart. Who  could forget our senior year  (Fall '81) when we had a bomb threat and  had to close the show after about the first 3-4 songs?"
